Lead an Innovative Early Childhood Education Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Education Director to join our dynamic team at Busy Bees Maitland. As a leader in the field, you will be responsible for guiding our educators to deliver high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.

Our Maitland centre offers a 96-place service with beautifully designed spaces, fully resourced for the benefit of our staff. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Educational Programmes: Develop and implement educational programmes that meet the National Quality Standards (NQS) and ensure quality practices and outcomes.
  • Mentor and Support Educators: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to educators to foster continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with Families: Work closely with families to understand their needs and provide regular updates on their child's progress.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of the service comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Essential Qualifications and Licences:
  • Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education: Hold a recognised qualification in early childhood education.
  • Working With Children Check: Possess a valid Working With Children Check or have the ability to obtain one.
  • First Aid Certificate: Hold a current First Aid Certificate, including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
  • Australian Work Rights: Possess current and valid Australian work rights.
