Salary Information

We offer competitive above-award rates for this position, including an additional educational leader allowance paid in addition to your salary. The estimated annual salary for this role is around $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent/higher qualification) and relevant leadership experience in the early childhood industry. Key responsibilities include leading reflective discussions to enhance practice and implementation of learning frameworks, supporting and mentoring staff, collaborating with families and professionals, and ensuring compliance with policies and service standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS to ensure quality practices and outcomes.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles in an early childhood setting with leadership skills to guide, mentor, and support educators.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with families, educators, and external agencies.
  • Experience planning, implementing, and assessing high-quality educational programs.
  • Commitment to reflective practices, feedback, and ongoing professional learning.
  • Familiarity with National Regulations and effective use of technology for documentation and planning.
