Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced leader who shares our passion for Early Childhood Education. As an Educational/Program Leader, you will work collaboratively with the Service management to help our service achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead reflective discussions to enhance practice and implementation of learning frameworks.
  • Support and mentor staff by modelling high-quality interactions and program practices.
  • Collaborate with families and early childhood professionals to form partnerships and strengthen community ties.
  • Regularly assess routines, learning experiences, and child interactions to provide feedback and improve effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, assess risks, and uphold service standards in alignment with governing bodies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent/higher qualification).
  • A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.
  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
  • Current and valid Australian Work Rights.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS to ensure quality practices and outcomes.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles in an Early Childhood setting with leadership skills to guide, mentor, and support educators.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with families, educators, and external agencies.
  • Experience planning, implementing, and assessing high-quality educational programs.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary above $100,000 per annum, including additional Educational Leader allowance, laundry allowance, annual uniform allocation, and generous Childcare Gap Fee discounts.
