Project Design Engineer

About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Beverage Development team at Sanitarium. As a Mechanical Engineer in this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing new machinery and plant, ensuring the finished outcome is of a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop plant P&IDs and factory layouts using AutoCAD and Plant3D.
- Design machinery and plant from concept through to final engineering drawings.
- Provide hands-on technical support in the operation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Develop project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Uphold Sanitarium's values and contribute positively to the team and business culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic or Process/Chemical Engineering.
- 3+ years of engineering experience working in project teams in food and beverages, pharmaceutical, or construction environments.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, or Plant 3D.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
