We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Disability Services Director to join our team at Recruit Shop.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior professional to lead our disability services division, driving growth, innovation, and excellence in service delivery. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing large teams, developing and implementing strategic plans, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of experienced managers and coordinators in delivering high-quality disability services across various locations in Sydney.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve service efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including directors, managers, and staff, as well as external partners, such as government agencies, funders, and community organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including NDIS, SDA, and SIL.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and employee engagement within the team.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role in the disability sector, preferably in a management or director position.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams, developing and implementing strategic plans, and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS, SDA, and SIL, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as disability studies, social work, or business administration.
