About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Project Officer to join our team at the City of Greater Geelong. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our services and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy to engage our audience and promote our services. This will include creating engaging content for our social media platforms, website, and email newsletters.
  • Brand Management: Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of our brand is maintained across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Marketing Administration: Assist with the administration of marketing software programs and ensure all marketing materials are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and implement marketing projects and campaigns to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives and goals.
Essential Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Digital Communications, or Business, or relevant experience in the above fields.
  • Experience with brand management and style guidelines, marketing strategy, and how this applies to planning.
  • Ability to develop marketing collateral and communications plans and have a commitment to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong experience in the digital environment relating to websites, email newsletters, social media, and content generation.
  • Experience in the development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of marketing, retention, and loyalty projects and strategies.
