To succeed in this position, you will be a skilled writer and content creator with a passion for digital media and marketing. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality, consistency, and integrity of the City of Greater Geelong's brand across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging content strategies for social media platforms and other digital channels.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience Manager to develop and execute marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Write and produce high-quality content for social media, email newsletters, and website landing pages.
- Manage and maintain the City of Greater Geelong's department website content.
- Administer and facilitate marketing and communication software programs.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in marketing, communications, or a related field, with experience in brand management, digital marketing, and content creation. You will be a skilled communicator with excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Essential Experience- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Digital Communications, or Business.
- Experience in brand management, marketing strategy, and content creation.
- Strong experience in the digital environment, including websites, email newsletters, social media, and content generation.
- Ability to develop marketing collateral and communications plans, and commit to delivering projects on time and within budget.
