About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Project Officer to join our team at the City of Greater Geelong. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our services and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy to engage our audience and promote our services. This will include creating engaging content for our social media platforms, writing and recording video content, and developing and maintaining our website content.
  • Brand Management: Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of our brand is maintained across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Marketing Administration: Assist with the administration of marketing software programs and facilitate the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and support the development and implementation of marketing projects and initiatives.
Essential Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Digital Communications, or Business, or relevant experience in the above fields.
  • Experience with brand management and style guidelines, marketing strategy, and how this applies to planning.
  • Ability to develop marketing collateral and communications plans and have a commitment to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong experience in the digital environment relating to websites, e-newsletters, social media, and content generation.
  • Experience in the development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of marketing, retention, and loyalty projects and strategies.
