About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Multicap. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals with disabilities in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care, household duties, cooking, and medication management
  • Provide companionship and build meaningful relationships with customers
  • Work collaboratively with a team to assess and overcome obstacles
  • Participate in training and upskilling opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Current Open Driver's Licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Experience in complex support environments, including In-Home Supports
  • Manual handling and personal care experience, including bathing, toileting, and dressing
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and respond to emergent situations
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts (Morning, Afternoon, Night, and Overnight)
