You will work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) or SDA environment to help participants achieve their goals and live independently.

Our Disability Support Workers are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our participants. As a Disability Support Worker at Cocoon SDA Care, you will experience a rewarding career where your skills and commitment are recognised and rewarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to participants with complex care, personal care, and high physical needs
  • Work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) or SDA environment to help participants achieve their goals and live independently
  • Establish professional relationships with participants and their families
  • Attend training and meetings as required
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience
  • Experience working with disability, mental health, high medical needs, aged care, individual support, or NDIS management
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record management
  • Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and attend training or meetings as required
  • Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Orientation, COVID Infection Control, NDIS Workers Screening, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check
  • Current Open Driver's Licence
