About the Role

Cocoon Group Services is a leading provider of disability support services, committed to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs. We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to participants with high complex behavior and/or high medical and/or complex needs
  • Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and mobility
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and participation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in disability support or a related field
  • Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Orientation, COVID Infection Control, NDIS Workers Screening, Working with Children Check, National Police Check
  • Current Open Driver's Licence (mandatory)
  • Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster, including overnight shifts and weekends
  • Ability to establish professional relationships with participants and their families
