About the Role

We are seeking a talented Planning Director to join our OpenDoor team in Sydney. This full-time position plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence, and best-in-class service for Amazon across its diverse businesses.

Job Description
  • Lead client brief interrogations, understanding business and communications objectives.
  • Maintain engagement with media partners to stay updated on the media landscape and core media principles.
  • Understand internal product teams to ensure knowledge about their offerings and relevance to client challenges.
  • Report on audience media consumption trends and habits, identifying new opportunities to connect brands with audiences.
  • Deliver in-channel ideation and tactics within campaign planning.
  • Create consumer journey maps across paid, owned, earned, and shared media.
  • Apply media planning principles and utilize agency and industry tools to support planned recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Media Planning with a deep understanding of work impact on other areas of the organization.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the field.
  • Relevant qualification in Media or Marketing.
  • Experience leading projects, preferably with a Project Management qualification.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
