Our organisation is seeking a compassionate and driven professional to join our Women Outreach Support Service (WOSS) team. This role offers a powerful opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals experiencing rough sleeping and homelessness.

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing practical support, emotional guidance, and strong advocacy to help clients move out of homelessness and into safety and stability.

  • Build meaningful, trust-based relationships using persistent and respectful engagement techniques
  • Develop individualised case plans aligned with client goals, strengths and immediate needs
  • Facilitate access to housing, health services, mental health support, drug & alcohol programs, legal services, and community connections
  • Coordinate case conferences and planning client exits with continuity of care
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, data entry and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field
  • Experience in case management and assertive outreach
  • Knowledge of homelessness, housing systems, and trauma-informed care
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and conflict resolution skills
  • An ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
  • Current Driver's Licence
