About Us

At APM Futures, we strive to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their vocational goals and build sustainable career pathways.

As an Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in providing tailored employment support to NDIS Participants, helping them develop and establish their vocational identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support to a small group of participants
  • Offer mentorship, encourage skills development, and increase people's capacity for work
  • Deliver person-centered supports to participants, including those transitioning from school to work
  • Provide on-site support once employment has commenced and assist with integration
  • Support and consult with employers

Qualifications & Requirements

We welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including Youth Services, NDIS, Community Services, and Employment Services.

Successful candidates will be resilient problem solvers, enjoy working collaboratively, and genuinely help young people with disabilities achieve their employment goals.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to obtain a Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Ability to successfully complete a NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement
  • Travel as required for service delivery and participant support
  • Availability to work full-time Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
