Lead Electrical Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Lead Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our team in a leadership position. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Electrical Power Systems Engineer looking for career progression in a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in the company's success, leading the design and engineering of electrical systems for diverse projects in renewable energy, mining, industrial, and oil and gas sectors.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and engineer electrical systems for various projects.
  • Perform detailed power systems studies, including load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and protection coordination.
  • Provide technical direction and mentor junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited Australian university and RPEQ/V qualification.
  • Extensive experience in electrical systems design for renewable energy, mining, or industrial projects.
  • Expertise in relevant software packages like ETAP, SKM PTW, PowerFactory, and PowerCAD.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
