Leading Public Library Operations

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an efficient and high-quality library service. This involves ensuring exceptional customer service, effective daily operations, and creating safe and welcoming spaces.
- Manage staff rosters to optimize team performance and provide training to enhance skills
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and oversee technology systems to drive continuous improvement
- Coordinate building maintenance and manage projects to deliver exceptional results
Key qualifications include a relevant university qualification, experience in public libraries and supervisory roles, and proven ability to lead teams with a strong focus on customer service delivery.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills with experience working effectively with staff and customers
- Current driver's license
Benefits include salary range of $116,235 - $134,546 per annum, plus 12% superannuation, and access to a leaseback vehicle or motor vehicle allowance.
