Financial Accountant Job Description

This role is responsible for managing the financial operations of an organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management accounting and be able to lead payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, and cashflow management.

The successful candidate will also ensure timely and accurate financials, including AP and transaction-level governance. They will provide regular reporting and performance commentary to stakeholders and partner with operations teams to align rostering, invoicing, and costs with NDIS funding models.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular reporting and performance commentary
About You:

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a management accounting or similar role. They will have experience managing finances for a business with a turnover of around US$30M. A strong understanding of payroll, labour costing, rostering, and SCHADS Award is required.

The successful candidate will also have strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with operational leaders. Experience or willingness to learn NDIS pricing and compliance frameworks is desirable.
