Job Description

The Penrith City Library Service offers a diverse range of resources and services to residents and visitors through its libraries, events, and programs.

This role involves delivering customer service and creative technology programs focused on digital literacy across the library service. You will also assist with daily operations and community engagement at the St Marys and St Clair branch libraries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to library users
  • Develop and deliver creative technology programs for diverse community groups
  • Assist with daily operations and community engagement at branch libraries

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree or TAFE diploma (or equivalent) with eligibility for ALIA associate membership
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated strong digital literacy skills and experience in PC troubleshooting, library systems, online databases, mobile media platforms, and creative technologies
