Research and Engagement Professional

This is a mid-senior level position that plays a critical part in delivering high-impact research and stakeholder engagement to enhance the performance and visibility of sustainable and impact funds.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Apply proprietary assessment frameworks to analyse ESG, sustainability, and impact factors for securities including stocks and bonds.
  • Conduct research to support the use of positive and negative screening in investment products.
  • Support and participate in thematic research programmes.
  • Support the engagement programme through research, coordination of meetings and reporting on engagement activities with issuers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Group boutiques to support their ESG, sustainability and impact goals.

The ideal candidate will have around 2 to 3 years of experience with sustainability or ESG-related issues, strong research and analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset. A bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline is required, with postgraduate qualifications in environment, sustainability, social policy or a related field being highly regarded.
