Job Title: ESG Underwriting Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate professional to join our team as an ESG Underwriting Specialist. This is a critical role that requires someone who can conduct research, analysis, and assimilation of information from various internal and external sources.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on ESG-related topics and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of ESG trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on ESG-related matters to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification/s in a relevant field or significant experience gained in a strategy/science/emerging technology/climate and/or sustainability context.
  • Ability to lead projects and manage complex stakeholder relations independently.
  • Experienced business analysis/insight and ability to communicate this succinctly but with depth in both written and verbal forms.
  • Thought leadership, influencing, and proficient communication skills.
  • Awareness of changing technology/customer/insurance trends.
  • Ability to learn new skills, adapt, and create value through experimentation.
  • Collaborative, team player, able to work independently & towards team goals.
