Job Title: Environmental and Social Research Associate">

This role is focused on covering ESG (environmental, social, governance) issues affecting companies and industries. You will work closely with senior ESG analysts to maintain an ESG lens over sectors within the Australian market.

  • Conduct research and contribute to publication of research reports by building relationships and interacting with key industry participants.">
  • Analyse and assist with providing written and oral commentary on ESG issues.">
  • Maintain industry databases and undertake company analysis as part of a team responsible for Equity Research.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Relevant work experience of at least 2 years in fields such as equity research, investment management, sustainability or corporate social responsibility.">
  • Preferably experience in an ESG related role.">
  • Strong numerical and financial modelling skills as well as a good understanding of financial concepts like valuation techniques and reviewing balance sheets/P&L.">
  • Accounting, finance, economics or social science degree qualification is required.">
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build good relationships are essential.">
  • CA or CFA qualifications are advantageous but not necessary.">
