As an Environmental, Social and Governance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's responsible investment strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity for career progression and growth in ESG.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the firm's Responsible Investment Policy, providing training and assistance to the wider investment team as needed. You will conduct ESG research, stay ahead of emerging global trends, standards and regulations, and contribute to incorporating ESG throughout the investment process.

About the Role

  • Executing the firm's Responsible Investment Policy

  • Assisting the ESG Team in engaging with portfolio company management teams
  • Partnering with external entities to oversee designated ESG projects

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or higher required
  • 0-2 years' experience and a commitment to developing a career in ESG
  • Strong interest in ESG/sustainability
  • Understanding of sustainable finance and ESG standards/frameworks
  • Familiarity with methods for measuring and reporting environmental or social impacts
  • Knowledge of decarbonization frameworks, target-setting methods and emissions quantification
  • Proficiency in data analysis, trend identification and summarizing findings
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and balance financial and non-financial considerations
  • Adaptable and consultative approach
  • Proficiency in MS Office
