Key Responsibilities
  • Lead recovery-oriented, trauma-informed support for individuals using the SafeHaven, collaborating with Peer Suicide Prevention Workers.
  • Provide leadership in delivering a suicide prevention drop-in program that serves as an alternative to the Emergency Department.
  • Facilitate education for staff and community members on suicide prevention; support program development and quality improvement.
  • Ensure evening shifts are covered as the SafeHaven operates 5pm – 9pm, six days a week.
  • Coordinate with health staff, services, and stakeholders to ensure safe delivery of the program.
