Medical Cleaning Professional for Pharmaceutical Environment

We are the OCS Group, a leading Facilities Management organization dedicated to delivering exceptional cleaning services. With our current project located in Macquarie Park NSW, we seek an experienced and proactive Medical Cleaning Professional to join our team on a 4-month contract.

  • Full-Time Contract Position (Monday to Friday 7am-3pm)
Duties and Responsibilities

As a Medical Cleaning Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring high-standard cleaning processes across various areas, including but not limited to:

  • Cleaning room equipment and surfaces, involving setting up chemicals and equipment.
  • Removing waste materials such as chemical containers and glass items.
  • Following strict security and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures.
  • Reporting to your supervisor or duty manager.
Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A proven work history in medical or pharmaceutical environments, either as a cleaner or manufacturing assistant. Experience with Covid-19 cleaning protocols is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling you to understand and follow instructions effectively.
  • Ability to document processes accurately, including recording chemical dilution, cleaning logs, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Willingness to wear full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), with no breathing apparatus required.
  • Capacity to work independently when needed.
  • A solid understanding of OHS practices.
  • Presentation and ability to adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Able to obtain an Australian National Police Clearance.
  • Hold valid working rights in Australia.
