Job Title: Medical Facilities Cleaning ProfessionalLocation: Macquarie Park NSW

$60,000 - $70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description

As a Medical Facilities Cleaning Professional, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning rooms and equipment to the highest standard
  • Removing waste and chemicals from the premises
  • FOLLOWING strict security and OHS procedures at all times
  • Reporting to your supervisor and/or duty manager as required

You will be working independently, but also as part of a team, to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned to the required standard. You will have access to the necessary training and equipment to perform your duties effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated work experience in a medical or pharmaceutical environment, either cleaning or assisting in manufacturing. Covid cleaning experience may be relevant.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Ability to document process, i.e. filling out records of dilution of chemicals, cleaning logs and evidence of following process
  • Willingness to wear full protective PPE (no breathing apparatus required)
  • Ability to work independently when required
  • Understanding of OHS practices
  • Well presented and ability to follow safety instructions
  • Must be able to pass an Australian National Police Clearance
  • Demonstrate Working Rights in Australia
