- Maintain a spotless and organized kitchen area.
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils.
- Assist in food preparation by peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients.
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and appliances.
- Set up and operate the dishwashing machine.
- Hand-wash fragile items and large kitchen equipment.
- Maintain the dishwashing machine, including cleaning and troubleshooting.
- Monitor soap and rinse aid levels regularly.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean and free of clutter.
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous work experience as a kitchen hand or dishwasher is highly regarded.
- Understanding of hygiene and sanitation regulations.
- Physical stamina and high energy levels.
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Adept at handling, care, and maintenance of specialist ethnic food preparation equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
