Job Title: Key Product Evaluator

We are seeking an experienced Key Product Evaluator to oversee the quality, safety, and compliance of our seafood products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess the quality, freshness, and condition of seafood products during intake, preparation, and dispatch.
  • Monitor food safety standards and handling processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct sampling and grading of seafood items based on size, freshness, and customer specifications.
  • Maintain quality assurance records and contribute to internal audits and inspections.
  • Provide recommendations and feedback to staff regarding quality standards and best practices.
  • Identify and report any non-conformances, contamination risks, or storage issues.
  • Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure all products meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and seafood handling practices.
  • Experience working in a food production or quality control environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills.
