We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic **ICT Security Specialist **to join our team

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Analyse current security systems and make recommendations for improvements or changes.
- Design and implement security networks and protocols.
- Inspecting and testing the security of the network.
- Prepare and ensure the proper configuration and management of ICT security equipment (firewalls, VPN, encryption, SIEM system, tokens, certificates, etc.) including event logging and log analysis.
- Ensure users have the appropriate equipment for their job role both at start up and ongoing.
- Perform ongoing monitoring of information systems and assess threats and risks to information security.
- Execute activities related to the implementation, and maintenance of information security controls and services.
- Install, audit and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
- Set up policies and procedures to control identified risks.
- Report issues to the Manager where escalation is required.
- Training staff on security protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related field
- 2 years of relevant experiences about security frameworks and risk management methodologies
- Knowledge of current security risks and protocols
- Willingness to work on-call in the event of a security breech or other emergency
- Good analytic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under close supervision, as well as the ability to take independent initiative when needed
