
High-Level Policy Coordinator

The Executive Coordinator role requires a highly organized and adaptable professional to provide high-level coordination and drafting of correspondence and other Ministerial and Departmental collateral.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-level coordination and drafting of correspondence and other Ministerial and Departmental collateral; liaise between the Consumer Energy Division and Ministerial Services Branch.
- Manage communication and workflows between the Consumer Energy Division and Ministerial Services Branch; oversee Ministerial correspondence, parliamentary requests and divisional responses to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and improve information management systems; support staff capability in tools such as SharePoint and CM10; coordinate input, research and analysis to inform evidence-based policy.
- Provide project and stakeholder support to the Office of the Executive Director and across the Division; prepare high-quality briefs, reports and documentation to inform decision-making and track progress.
This is an opportunity to be at the centre of consumer energy policy, driving coordination and impact across the Division and Ministerial Services.
About You:You are an experienced professional with strong critical analysis and problem-solving skills, able to navigate complex and sensitive issues in a high-volume environment.
With experience in project coordination, you bring sound judgement and a collaborative approach to managing competing priorities. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior government representatives and stakeholders, ensures that you can deliver accurate, timely and high-quality advice.
This is a temporary opportunity (12 months initially with possibility of extension) offering Clerk Grade 7/8 - salary ranges from $113,574 - $125,720 plus super.
