Heavy Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a leader in the heavy vehicle repair industry, we offer exceptional service and innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and diagnostics, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose damaged suspension parts and mechanical components
  • Dismantle and fit new mechanical and suspension parts
  • Perform quality control and inspection of vehicles
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure they meet quality repair standards
  • Carry out system updates to diagnostic computers
  • Label parts and store as per workshop standards and procedures
  • Check new parts are correct and undamaged
  • Perform any adaptations based on completed diagnoses
  • Clean work bay and workshop areas

Requirements:

  • Experienced and trained as a qualified Mechanic (Essential)
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Desire to grow and build skills
  • Good attitude, with excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail and process driven
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in your approach to work
