Engine Mechanic Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable engine technician to join our team at the Garbutt branch in Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about engines and looking to build a long-term career with a leader in the industry.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, service, and repair small petrol and diesel engines.
  • Perform regular maintenance and overhaul of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimize operational downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of services and repairs.
  • Ensure equipment is safe, compliant, and customer-ready.
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualifications and experience with small petrol and diesel engines.
  • Mechanical aptitude, with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and basic electrical systems.
  • Valid driver's licence (MR or HR preferred).
  • Forklift and EWP tickets beneficial.
