We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful applicant will be responsible for performing diesel fitting, engine & transmission rebuilding, diagnostic testing and fault finding.
Main Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in diesel fitting, engine & transmission rebuilding, diagnostic testing and fault finding.
- Inspecting, identifying and diagnosing mechanical issues.
- Accurately scoping jobs for quality repair of plant and equipment including estimation of time, materials and resources required to complete the job.
- Performing site inspections and participating in daily shift information meetings.
- Maintaining adherence to workshop procedures and ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Trade Qualified in Diesel Mechanics.
- Ability to perform both workshop and site work.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols.
- Own Transport.
- Basic Tools of Trade.
Location: Townsville.
