Business Loan Operations Manager

Are you an expert in commercial lending? Do you have a keen eye for detail and excellent analytical skills?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business Loan Operations Manager, where you will play a critical role in the monitoring, managing and compliance of our loan portfolios.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the performance reporting requirements for our loan portfolios, undertaking and maintaining group exposure analysis and reporting, and preparing reports for monthly Credit Committee meetings.

You will also be responsible for conducting regular quality assurance activities, leading process development and policy writing, and communicating new processes and policies to credit staff.

Additionally, you will manage a small team overseeing loan covenant and milestone compliance, monitor and report non-compliance statistics, and assist the Joint Heads of Credit in planning and completing credit special projects.

Your experience in commercial lending or a similar operational or reporting role will be highly valued, as well as your high-level understanding of commercial loan documentation and proficiency in Excel.

We are looking for a highly competent individual with excellent communication skills, who can work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial lending or a similar operational or reporting role
  • High-level understanding of commercial loan documentation
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
