Servicing and Collections Specialist

The role of a Servicing and Collections Specialist plays a pivotal part in the fintech sector. We are seeking a professional to join our team and contribute to our growth.

This position involves working closely with the Credit, Sales, and Operations teams, as well as brokers and clients directly, to provide comprehensive support throughout the loan lifecycle.

Responsibilities include ensuring all supporting documentation is collected and meets the specified requirements outlined in the Credit & Collections Policy. Additionally, preparing instructions for variations, discharges, and collections/enforcement instructions to be issued to panel lawyers will be a key aspect of this role.

Other key responsibilities include maintaining internal systems and tools up to date with progress throughout the existing loan pipeline, checking and recording the sale status of security properties, and liaising with Credit and Sales teams to ensure loans are moved through the pipeline within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Supporting portfolio monitoring for customer milestones, conducting thorough portfolio reviews to ensure continual progress and timely discharges throughout the journey will also be a critical component of this role.

Required skills and qualifications for this position include at least 12 months' experience in a servicing and collections role, a good understanding of the mortgage loan process from application to settlement and discharge, tenacious attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills.
