Job Description:
The Global Lending team provides corporate lending operations services, including bilateral loan support and management for institutional banking & market and business banking portfolios. The team is accountable for establishing bilateral loan facilities and managing the facilities through the end-to-end process.
The team manages direct client relations and corporate loan administration while collaborating with multiple stakeholders, delivering exceptional service and providing expert advice on bilateral loans, including loan terms and conditions, deal execution and risk management.
The role focuses on servicing institutional, corporate & business banking clients by managing and maintaining bilateral loan administration within a corporate and business bank lending portfolio. You will manage requests and queries spanning establishment and maintenance across products such as cash advance facilities, overdraft, bank guarantee facilities and multi-option facilities (including sub-products).
You will help facilitate the execution of new transactions by engaging upstream and downstream teams to establish accounts to allow funding to occur. You will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners to ensure clients are well-served.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage bilateral lending relationships with clients, handling enquiries related to cash advance facilities, overdraft, bank guarantee facilities and multi-option facilities (including sub-products).
- Facilitate and implement complex lending transactions in systems unique to institutional banking.
- Ensure effective legal documentation interpretation and extraction to upload to relevant systems.
- Provide life-of-loan support, including confirmation of CPs, first drawdowns, prepayments, terminations and general maintenance referring to the governing facility agreement for permitted requests.
- Maintain effective client records within the Deal Management System for audit trail purposes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Excellent attention to detail with experience in corporate loans, commercial loans, complex lending or related commercial or business banking lending products.
- Ability to recognise and prioritise competing priorities and to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
