Key Responsibilities

Engage actively in forward planning to identify and mitigate potential scheduling risks and ensure a detailed technical installation sequence. Generate comprehensive measurement and inspection documentation. Facilitate inspections in collaboration with site management personnel. Program laser tracking equipment (such as FARO and total stations) to guarantee precise and dependable data acquisition. Execute measurements in accordance with established Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Gather and interpret data collected during measurement activities. Detect discrepancies and offer suggestions for corrective measures. Assist the team in supervising the installation of hydro-turbines and associated apparatus on-site.

Candidate Profile

Possess a Diploma in Engineering Technology (Geomatic, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated experience in operating laser tracking devices within the construction sector or related fields. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail with a dedication to delivering accurate and precise measurements. Team-oriented individual with a focus on customer service, accountability, and solution-oriented approaches. Proactive in foreseeing challenges and providing strategic problem-solving solutions. Skilled in utilizing measurement software and related data analysis tools. Fully computer literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, suitable for an international team setting.

Physical Requirements

Must successfully complete pre-employment medical assessments, drug and alcohol testing, and background checks. Capable of standing, walking, and climbing as required. Willingness to work night shifts as necessary.

Site Conditions

Standard work schedule includes 7 days on-site followed by 7 days off. Accommodation is provided on-site.
