About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to join our team at Voith Group. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of hydro-turbines and related equipment at our sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning and risk management process to ensure timely and efficient installation.
- Prepare and conduct measurements and inspections to verify installation quality.
- Coordinate with site management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Program and operate laser trackers to collect accurate data.
- Conduct measurements according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Analyze data and identify deviations, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Support the team in overseeing installation and ensuring quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering Technology or equivalent industry experience.
- Previous experience in operating laser tracker equipment in the construction industry or similar industries.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate measurements.
- Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach.
- Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
- Proficiency in using measurement software and associated data analysis tools.
- Computer literacy with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in an international team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Able to pass pre-employment medical, Drug & Alcohol test and Police check.
- Must be able to stand, walk and climb as necessary.
- Availability for night shifts.
Site Conditions
- A typical roster of days in, 7 days out.
- Camp accommodation is provided.
