About the Role

The Voith Group is a global technology company with a broad portfolio of systems, products, services, and digital applications. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing commercial activities related to subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract management and budget oversight
  • Adherence to commercial agreements and subcontractor relationship management
  • Supervising subcontractors' daily activities and ensuring work is executed as per business priorities (HSE, quality, schedule, and budget) and contractual requirements
  • Identifying risks and opportunities, developing mitigation plans, and escalating critical issues
  • Coordinating work planning with all subcontractors' trades and participating in daily planning meetings
  • Issuing non-compliance reports (NCRs) to subcontractors
  • Monitoring activities and providing progress reports (HSE, quality, schedule, and budget)
  • Coordinating change management processes and managing claims with subcontractors
  • Approving timesheets, progress, and invoicing
  • Managing weekly meetings with subcontractors (progress, performance, risks, and opportunities, contractual issues review, invoicing, etc.) and issuing minutes of meeting
  • Obtaining and maintaining all relevant subcontractor documentation as per the contract
Requirements
  • Diploma in electrical or mechanical, or related field
  • Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget
  • Previous demonstrated experience in Construction Management
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven
  • Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb as necessary
Working Conditions
  • A typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out
  • Camp accommodation is provided
