As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on complex environmental and hazardous materials projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Site investigations, remediation and risk assessments for contaminated land
- Asbestos surveys, management plans, monitoring and clearance inspections for hazardous materials
- On-site leadership, supervising asbestos removal and remediation works
- Reporting and advice, preparing technical reports, scopes of work and expert recommendations
- Client engagement, managing relationships and ensuring projects run to scope, timeline and budget
Growth focus: Contributing to business development and mentoring junior consultants.
Requirements:- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science or related field
- Current Asbestos Assessor's Licence (NSW)
- 3-5+ years' consulting experience in environmental or hazardous materials
- Solid knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Strong communication skills for clients, reports and team collaboration
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
