We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in the Hunter Valley region, where they will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that align with our sustainability commitments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental management systems and geographic information systems, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the Environmental Management System and Geographic Information System (GIS).
  • Coordinate environmental monitoring activities to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
  • Support the implementation of environmental projects and contribute to the development of environmental management plans.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and local authorities to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

About This Opportunity:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with local stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of NSW legislative requirements.
  • Previous experience in mining or a similar role is highly advantageous but not required.
