Speech Pathologist Opportunity

Your role will be to provide high-quality mobile speech pathology services to adults living in residential aged care sites. This will involve assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties, as well as providing telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with our national team of speech pathologists, as well as organisational staff, support coordinators and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimum care needs are met.

  • Dysphagia and Communication Assessment: You will assess and diagnose swallowing and communication difficulties in adults living in residential aged care and the community.
  • Telehealth-Based Services: You will provide telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention to clients.
  • Liaison and Collaboration: You will work closely with our national team of speech pathologists, as well as organisational staff, support coordinators and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimum care needs are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need a professional qualification in speech pathology with an active membership of Speech Pathology Australia. You will also need a driver's licence and a reliable form of transport.
