We are Ability Action Australia, one of the largest providers to the NDIS, supporting over 10,000 participants each year. We use a multi-disciplinary team approach to build a quality support service around the needs and goals of participants and their families. The role offers flexibility to work in settings including both a clinic and the community.
About UsWe love seeing participants achieve their goals and empower them with a strengths-based approach. Our team uses a mix of standardised and non-standardised assessments to guide clinical reasoning and delivers speech therapy interventions in the setting best matched to participants' goals (school, home, work, community, or clinic). We collaborate with a local multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Key Workers, and Behaviour Support Practitioners.
Our Speech Pathology team covers a diverse range of clinical areas including early intervention (infants 0–12 months and feeding), paediatrics, adults, dysphagia/swallowing, AAC, and psychosocial disabilities.

Responsibilities- Deliver speech therapy interventions to participants in settings aligned to their goals (clinic, school, home, work, or community).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement therapy and support plans.
- Contribute to assessment using a combination of standardised and non-standardised tools and guide clinical reasoning.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure compliance with service delivery standards.
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist.
- A passion for collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience delivering services under the NDIS.
- A desire to make a real difference within the community.
