Clinical Educator

The Clinical Educator - Mental Health (Enrolled Nursing Program) is a key member of the education and clinical leadership teams at Peninsula Health. This role requires a qualified nurse with extensive experience in mental health nursing, who can demonstrate flexibility in supporting all levels of staff across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and facilitate education in compliance with evidence-based practice and hospital policy and guidelines.
- Participate in the planning, development, coordination, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of education services for Peninsula Health.
- Support the development of staff along the novice to expert continuum.
- Work competently within their scope of practice to advance clinical practice and mitigate risk.
- Qualified nurse with a minimum of 5 years current and extensive experience working within mental health nursing.
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to attain.
- Prior experience in teaching or supporting learners.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-direction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- High level of computer proficiency.
