This is a key position within the Nursing & Clinical Health business area, responsible for providing quality operational support and leadership through the development of strategies and programs that promote educational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the Nursing team in managing and implementing educational excellence, business growth, and opportunities that enhance the Institute's reputation and meet industry and community needs.
- Develop and implement contemporary educational programs that meet learner, industry, and community needs.
- Collaborate with the Manager - Nursing & Clinical Health and peers in Nursing to achieve business objectives and improve student outcomes.
- Provide expert advice and support to staff on educational matters, including curriculum development, assessment, and evaluation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Institute's Educational Excellence Framework.
- Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higher.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
- Vocational qualifications relevant to or above the level required and industry currency.
- Registration with professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline.
- Demonstrated successful experience in the delivery and development of contemporary educational programs.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level organisational skills and the ability to coordinate resources in significant program areas.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, and use tools in assessing learner competence and abilities.
- Demonstrated evidence of ongoing vocational and professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging program materials and training sessions.
- Ability to identify potential setbacks and challenges in a classroom environment and effectively resolve these.
- Ability to motivate and guide students to optimise their learning outcomes.
- High level awareness of, and responsiveness to, learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances within and outside the classroom.
- Openness to new ideas and the ability to implement them.
- Proven experience in developing innovative educational delivery methods.
