Job Description

Your role as a key customer support specialist plays a crucial part in delivering exceptional instrument service and support to our customers.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers requiring repair of an instrument, working closely with Field Service Engineers to ensure timely scheduling, job completion, and billing. Your responsibilities will span the entire process from initial request to final resolution.

To achieve this goal, you must effectively manage service jobs, meeting all critical measures for delivering a great customer experience. This includes:

  • Acting as the main interface between the customer and the Service team.
  • Responding to customer inquiries via telephone and Salesforce.
  • Meeting performance metrics on average speed of response and first call resolution.
  • Dispatching Service Orders to engineers, scheduling and confirming bookings.
  • Liaising between customer and engineer, keeping both informed of any changes to job bookings.
  • Ensuring service levels for customers are met, proactively addressing potential non-compliance issues.
  • Daily invoicing to close jobs and generate revenue.
  • Investigating and resolving credits for disputed invoices.
  • Performing general administrative tasks to support the service team.
