About the opportunity

Reporting to the Group Manager - Philanthropy & Fundraising, the Key Supporter Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build donor loyalty and grow income - particularly through mid-level supporters - through a combination of fundraising and engagement strategies.

This role focuses on building strong, long-term relationships with supporters, ensuring they feel valued and connected to our mission to end homelessness. The role works across a broad range of regular giving, one-off donations, appeals, supporter journeys and donor comms, using creativity and data-driven insights.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage the overall Regular Giving program, finding sustainable growth in income, retention and seeking opportunities to grow an exciting pool of mid-level supporters.
  • Project manage our multi-channel fundraising appeals (currently, Festive and Winter Appeals), including managing key relationships with external designers, printers and mail-house.
  • Proactively seek ways to increase general donations across Launch Housing, staying abreast of fundraising trends on and offline.
  • Support the implementation of a new Bequests program.
  • Quickly and creatively establish and trial new ideas in an acquisition/look-a-like program that carefully balances ROI metrics.
  • Support the planning and delivery of any donor stewardship events.
  • Lead on customer service-related issues, including seeking new ways to surprise and delight key donors.
  • Developing donor journeys to strengthen a supporter's relationship and connection with our mission.
  • Work with the CRM and process improvements to ensure accurate use of data, data hygiene and PCI compliance.
  • Manage key donor communications and publications working across digital and print formats.
  • Measure and report on supporter retention.
What we're looking for (key selection criteria)
  • Experience working with CRM systems and donor databases, with a commitment to data accuracy, hygiene, and compliance (e.g. PCI standards).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Regular Giving, donor communications, or fundraising campaigns in a not-for-profit or similar environment.
  • Experience supporting multi-channel fundraising appeals or donor campaigns, including coordination with external suppliers.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage timelines, competing priorities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a purpose-driven team, contributing to a culture of empathy, innovation, and impact.
  • Understanding of, or a demonstrated commitment to upholding, Child Safe Standards in the workplace.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the values of Launch Housing and our mission to end homelessness.

$113,405.80 - $113,405.80 a year
