Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Analyst plays a crucial role in managing the company's accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, and maintaining a smooth workflow. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the invoice mailbox and processing in SAP, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the workflow of invoices through local approval and CONUS processing/payment, maintaining accurate records and deadlines.
  • Oversee the management of site cash and float requirements, ensuring adequate funds are available for operations.
  • Prepare journals to corporate on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including organizing, filing, and maintaining records in an up-to-date condition.
  • Ensure compliance with all site's environmental health and safety requirements, adhering to company policies and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Year 12 completion or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • Equivalent demonstrated experience in accounts payable or a related field.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The position is desk-based and sedentary in nature, with occasional lifting of items up to 5kgs.
  • Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 10kgs, kneeling, standing, and walking, routinely sitting, and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication.
Statement of Work Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to fluently read, write, and speak English.
