Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at 21c Museum Hotels. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring our restaurant and bar staff to deliver exceptional service and experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and Motivate Team Members: Provide guidance, support, and feedback to your team to ensure they are equipped to deliver outstanding service and meet the needs of our guests.
  2. Operational Management: Assist the Restaurant and Bar Manager with day-to-day operations, including managing inventory, scheduling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  3. Guest Experience: Ensure that our guests receive a personalized and memorable experience, meeting their expectations and exceeding their needs.
  4. Revenue Management: Assist with revenue management, including managing cash handling, credit card transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  5. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
  6. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  7. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.
Requirements
  1. Leadership and Management Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  2. Food and Beverage Knowledge: Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and revenue management.
  3. Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a personalized and memorable experience to our guests.
  4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, management, and guests.
  5. Availability and Flexibility: Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
