Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain positive relationships with the young people in your care, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met. You will work closely with our team to provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes self-efficacy and emotional well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing daily care, supervision, and role modeling to young people
- Meeting the day-to-day needs of children and young people, working within legislative requirements and LWB initiatives
- Facilitating activities that connect young people with their family, community, and culture
- Supporting young people to participate in school, vocational training, or employment
- Effectively advocating for the views of young people
- Participating in team meetings, reflective practice, and supervision
