We are seeking an experienced Senior Client Engagement Officer to join our team at SOS Recruitment.
About the RoleThis is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension, offering a competitive hourly rate of $61.56 plus 11.5% superannuation.
Key Responsibilities- Engage and build rapport with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Undertake assessments of applications for housing assistance in accordance with client centred service delivery principles.
- Match resources to client's needs and circumstances.
- Apply legislation and policy within a human services environment.
- Provide clients with timely information and referrals.
- Prepare written material related to assessments, resource allocation, decision making and other government requirements.
- Maintain sound record keeping practices.
- Work within and support the work of a small team.
- Represent the department in a range of government and community forums.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Prior to commencing in this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 will be required.
- Experience in client services and administration.
- Experience in using a range of IT business and office applications.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
